Fine Australian Black Opal Diamond Platinum Ring

An exceptional natural black opal from the famed mining area of Lightning Ridge, Australia. The opal weighs a substantial 7.38 carats and has excellent play-of-color. Across the entire opal are bright and strong flashes of primarily red with accents of blue, green, and orange. Adding to that is a nice polished dome and a strong thick color-bar. It is complemented by 1.93 carats of large round brilliant and baguette-cut diamonds set around the opal. Hand-fabricated in platinum, a fine opal to add to a growing collection.
