Victorian Italian Micro-Mosaic Gold Dove Brooch

A lovely example of micro-mosaic work mastered in Rome during the mid-19th century. Colorful and highly detailed, this brooch depicts two doves coming together to make a home. Over a thousand pieces of mosaic were used to craft this intricate and lavish brooch, made in 18k gold.
