This means the stone is extremely pure without any traces of nitrogen, a very common impurity in diamonds. Only a small fraction of gem quality diamonds can be considered type 2a adding to its rarity and value. It has a rich light golden champagne color which is so fine and pleasing. It is complemented by 2.28 carats of additional diamonds set around the split shank ring. Hand-fabricated in platinum and ready to be worn.
