The sapphire weighs just under 4 carats, (3.98), and has a rich vivid blue color known in the trade as “royal blue” for the finest of sapphires. The GRS lab in Switzerland has given this stone the color grade of royal blue for its top gem quality color. Additionally, it has a Ceylon (Sri Lanka) origin which is the most classic source of blue sapphire. It is surrounded by 1.60 carats of baguette-cut diamonds which spiral around the setting. Hand-fabricated in platinum and ready to be worn!
