A special 34.84 carat kite shape double cabochon natural opal is bordered by 2.18 crats of round rubies. Revered as a symbol of hope, fidelity and purity, opal was dubbed the Queen of Gems by the ancient Romans because it encompasses the colors of all other gems. Opal is prized for its unique play of colors with the ability to disperse light into flashes of rainbow colors. On the top sits a 0.28 carat emerald cut diamond with E color and VS1 clarity. All set in platinum.
